There are multiple issues that my customers, and myself have been facing.
Our first issue is when a user equips the layered clothing body suit, it just completely disappears. I am aware of a recent catalog asset update initiative, however this asset was never part of this. This issue has caused a significant loss of issue, as well as 100’s of refund and fix requests which we are unable to do on our end.
Secondly, some of our body suits are not updated to be body suits, however remain as jackets. Our concern is that in a layered clothing wave these will be removed.
For the issue on bodysuits not being labeled properly, we’ve recently launched a feature where you can request another “Category Review”! This will let us know that we should take another look at this item to confirm the category is correct.
Do you want to try out this feature? I’ve included a screenshot of where the “Category Review” button is.
The disappearing item violates the platform limits on the size that a layered clothing item can become after it’s deformed to fit on an avatar, so it’s removed. If you’d like to sell this item again, you’ll need to re-create it in a form that doesn’t deform to be very large once it’s equipped.
The best way to do that is to create the item’s model mesh at a size that’s reasonable for an avatar to be (which already appears to be the case) and then use the caging best practices (documented at https://create.roblox.com/docs/art/accessories/caging-best-practices) to create cage meshes that don’t cause the mesh to deform to be overly large upon being equipped.
We have no problem recreating the item, however our main concern is obviously the purchasers. We have received 100’s of refund requests on and off platform which are are unable to process. Is there a way to get this item removed completely, so customers can receive refunds?
