We knew the moderations gave frustrating about goddamn false warning & moderated review. Yesterday I received a warning letter by robot moderations for absurd claim “Directing users off-Platform” on my username without specific rhyme or reason. Additional, persisted of AI/robot moderation failure by negligence for resetting & banning innocent users directly, that contained with social media name!
Deal with appeal process from my warning letter through Roblox Support, an AI Appeals service has shown impolite, vague details, & malpractise situations without justification on my moderated username after rely thought support, which increased deterioration to Innocents for property lost!

After appealed my warning thought Appeal Support and do nothing, I GOT TEMPORARY BANNED FOR 1 DAY WITH SAME REASON ABOVE WITHOUT SPECIFIC NOTICE, TWICE! @Roblox WHAT THE HELL!
There’s probably a Directing users off-Platform banwave going on, I also got a warning yesterday for that because my account bio had @ symbol (it was referring to roblox username but who cares!). Allegedly they have KPI’s on bans that they have to fulfill every month, hence these absurd warnings.
I need an urgent appeal of real human Appeal Services (Not AI/Robot Appeal Services) for taking a serious review from my violation records and NOT FOR MINDLESS OR NEGLECT DECISION!
I will try to stay fair at this. This seems to be intentional. They currently seem to moderate accounts having “YT” in their usernames as it goes against their giving: PII and directing users off platform policies which i kind of doubt will get reverted
The username getting restored seems to have been an error on the appeals part unless the username does not link to any other website. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a lot that can be done here
I do hope Roblox will make an exception to these usernames, but they technically do violate roblox’s policies as of now. The 1 day ban seems to be unintentional though

First of all, my username was registered in this platform since late 2018, as November 2018 and never changed yet (Need cost 1k robux per username change). That doesn’t seem any issue for my username during signup as I followed community rules & ToS.
My personally maintained good behavioural & attitudes. Neither shared any sensitive info that breached guidelines, nor linked to any external websites there are not whitelisted in my activity (action), still got violated inexplicably without provide specific details given during my inactivity in this platform, just only mentioned my username instead of the other usernames.
I don’t understand why that AI moderation did this without explanation under mindless community rules, and reviews are contradicted of new community rules?
Already mentioned 5 of these whitelisted platforms (Guilded has shut down) and examples. Unfortunately, Roblox redacted some specify above, including social media names & action details of new changes in Community Rules they’ve easily to conflicted, disputed & hard to explain for existed users.
I do want to mention that i understand your frustration and as i mentioned prior, i also do not like this change as well. However, i did simply point out that it is still against the rules and saying it isn’t seems to be a misunderstanding. I do agree that this shouldn’t have happened out of nowhere, but i also want to mention that this technically is not a false moderation (As i already linked)
I believe those usernames should’ve been allowed and not banned, but saying it’s following the rules is also misleading
I understand the misunderstanding but the screenshot you listed is not only outdated, but still doesn’t whitelist YouTube in your username. If you read a bit further, it mentions:
Links to any of those approved sites must be wrapped in the applicable PolicyService API or linked in the Social Networks and Social Links settings of your profile or experience description page. Links (including those to approved sites) that appear in locations where the API cannot be deployed are prohibited.
It specifically mentions that the username would’nt be allowed. It would’ve only been allowed under your social links/networks or via the game description page even with the older screenshot. It does not include usernames if you read the second and third sentence
As said again, this technically does violate the rules as far as i know. But i am also not saying that this shouldn’t have been allowed, so i don’t see a reason to try to fight this off as allowed since it doesn’t seem to be. Unless, the username isn’t linking to YouTube at all which then seems to be a misunderstanding
I do want to blame Roblox Moderation on this part and not you though. It seems like it was unfiltered and not really enforced until they suddenly started a banwave without notice which is not your fault
Yup this happened to me, they are automating it. My username used to be DybalaplaysYT, they warned me and changed my name to a template and gave me a free name change, i’m kinda glad.
I understand your concepts on these points thought your guidelines research.
Is it the community rules of Directing user off-Platform, still amendments on this year, compile affected with age checks & groups afterward these updates in 2026?
I am honestly not sure if any adjustments are planned any time soon. Could be, but i don’t have an answer for this since there is no information regarding this available
