My brother's tree generator

Some pretty cool stuff.

As a tree lover, I think those trees are really neat. I like his approach and it has a lot of variables too. The generator is probably a bit too Part-intensive though to use for games.

Bit off topic here: It looks like I inspired your brother a bit. His first place is built completely in the style I used for the Mad Paintball maps. If he ever needs any tips, let him know that I’m willing to help him :DDD

Nah, just put that second one in a misty and bleak adventure game. It’d look fantastic.

How many of these 15K+ part trees do you want? Haha!

Nah, but this is a perfect example of why we need to be able to have a Model->CSG option.

That would probably be about as reliable as… something that’s not very reliable (and wouldn’t be worth it if the model had multiple materials). You’d probably have better success union groups of like parts (e.g. branches, leaf clusters) even though that would take a long time.

Some bizarre configurations lol, though I have to admit, this is one of the coolest tree generators I have yet to see!

I’m having fun making infinite trees.

Cool generator, though. I like all the variables.

Looks like one of those fractal thingies :stuck_out_tongue:

I recently added a couple of variables that let you change the length of the branches as the tree generates, how quickly they lengthen, and how quickly the trunk decreases in size. Enjoy

YOU GOT IN! Congrats.

I know! I’m so happy
