My custom character can climb some steps but goes completely through bigger parts?
It seems it can land on top of parts but will not collide with the sides of parts.

This is an unfortunate behavior of humanoids. Their MoveTo code is hardcoded to find parts either named UpperTorso or Torso to use as colliders, and everything else is ignored. Naming the “Chest” part “Torso” resolves the issue.
