My CTR of a Sponsor is TERRIBLE

Hi
I tested a sponsored ad with 3k robux today to see how many clicks the ad would get.
The place is actually inactive, it was only done to see what the CTR would be. I was hoping for 0.1+

After multiple hours, my CTR is 0.014% which I think is terrible.

Here is the game icon, the game name is Roll Call! [NEW!]

Any ideas why the CTR is so low and what I could do to improve it? Thanks!

Hey, lately the Roblox “games” layout has changed quite a bit, and sponsoring just isn’t very effective anymore. Try to use banner ads, those are the ones that probably get the most clicks in my opinion!

Do ads not sponsors. Sponsors are ads weak little brother

EDIT: Sponsors are really good if you have at least 100k robux

Sponsors are dead at this point, because of the change in layout of the front page.

If you want to advertize, you should do it trough banner ads.

Oh. When did they change that? I remember them being the best

They moved the Popular page further down, that was really the death of it.
Sponsors somewhat work, I got 6 concurrent players in a game I made with 2k, but you should use ads, instead.

I’m getting 0.6% CTR with ads, is that okay?

Yeah, that’s alright for a regular ad.

Yes that is because sponsors are a waste! Use advertising. You can easily get 100 players with 3000 robux.

That is, if the game is engaging and/or fun to play.

Have you tested that before? If so how much players could I get with 10k? Im trying to learn some advertising methods before I complete my game.

A main factor of getting your game successful isn’t advertising, but if your game is entertaining or engaging to users, advertising is beneficial, but just having a large budget doesn’t confirm success.

Well my game gets around 80-100 players with less than 3k, so I assume that you can get more with more bidding. It’s always a good idea to test your ad out with a very small amount, like 100 robux, just to see if the ad gets any clicks. Don’t bid 10k on ads immediately SO MANY DEVS make this mistake. My friend bid 17.5k robux on an ad and had only around 2500 visits from it because he gambled.

That’s true, ADs run on a bidding system so it’s better to divide up funds over several days and spend no more than 5K on any one AD run.

Usually you will get less people on the first day or two but if you do it for a week you will see yourself grow
