Hello everyone,
I’m writing this because my game was obtained through fraud using Roblox’s official Experience Ownership Transfer feature, and after multiple attempts to contact Roblox Support, I have been unable to get even a manual review of the transfer.
What happened
On August 4, 2026, I agreed to sell my game, Wash all the dishes, for $15,000.
The buyer suggested using an escrow service for the transaction. The service showed that the buyer had deposited the funds, that the money was being held by the middleman, and that the deal was Funded.
Based on that confirmation, I used Roblox’s official Experience Ownership Transfer feature and transferred the game.
As soon as the buyer gained full control of the Experience, everything changed.
I never received a single dollar.
The buyer refused to release the payment, deleted our conversations, blocked me everywhere, and disappeared.
Later, when I began independently verifying the transaction and the data provided by the escrow service, I found serious reasons to believe that the supposed payment confirmation was fraudulent.
The result is simple:
The buyer got my game.
I got $0.

What Roblox Support told me
I contacted Roblox Support immediately and explained what had happened in detail.
For some reason, however, my reports keep being treated as if they were disputes involving item or currency trades.
I have repeatedly explained something very important:
I understand that Roblox was not a party to our financial agreement. I am not asking Roblox to pay me $15,000. I am not asking Roblox to reimburse lost Robux or items.
I am asking Roblox to investigate the Experience ownership transfer itself, which was performed through an official Roblox feature and was induced through deliberate fraud.
I asked Support one very specific question:
Can Roblox review or reverse an Experience ownership transfer performed through the official Experience Ownership Transfer system when that transfer was obtained through fraud?
I still have not received an answer to that question.
Instead, I repeatedly received responses explaining Roblox’s policies regarding unsupported item and currency trades. Eventually, Support told me that they would provide no further information regarding my case.
And this is where I am genuinely angry
What makes this situation even more frustrating is who ended up with my game.
The Experience is now owned by a group associated with verified developers with blue checkmarks. From the outside, these accounts look like established and trustworthy members of the Roblox developer community.
Yet my game — a game that I personally designed, programmed, tested, updated, and grew — is now in their possession.
And I received $0 of the agreed $15,000 for it.
These people did not spend sleepless nights developing this project.
They did not fix hundreds of bugs.
They did not experiment with its mechanics.
They did not watch the first few dozen players join and then see the game gradually begin to grow.
I did.
And now someone else can simply possess an already functioning and successful Experience, continue monetizing it, and profit from work they did not create.
The worst part of this situation is not even the money.
The worst part is the feeling that there is apparently nothing that can be done about it.
Yes, I made a mistake.
I trusted the wrong person and the wrong escrow service. That was my decision, and it will be an extremely expensive lesson for me.
But my mistake should not make fraud acceptable.
Roblox itself states that scamming violates its Terms of Use.
I am reporting a specific incident. I have the Experience ID, the recipient Group ID, the exact transfer time, conversation history, transaction records, evidence that payment was never received, and additional supporting material.
I am not even asking Roblox to automatically return the Experience simply because I say that I was scammed.
I am asking them to investigate what happened.
So I have a question for Roblox and other developers
If an entire successful Experience can be obtained through fraud using Roblox’s official Experience Ownership Transfer system, and the original owner is then sent information about item trading policies before their support case is closed, how safe is this system for developers?
Today, this happened to me.
Tomorrow, another developer could lose a project they spent years building.
I do not expect Roblox to protect me from every bad decision I make. And I am not asking Roblox to compensate me for the $15,000 that the buyer promised to pay.
I am asking for something completely different:
Investigate what happened on the Roblox platform involving Roblox’s own ownership transfer system.
If someone obtains another developer’s work through fraud and is then able to simply continue monetizing it, they are contributing nothing to the developer community.
Situations like this destroy developers’ trust in the platform and in the tools Roblox provides to us.
So I want to ask one simple question:
Does Roblox have any team or procedure capable of manually investigating an Experience Ownership Transfer when there is evidence that the transfer was induced through fraud?
If any Roblox staff member or developer who has dealt with a similar situation knows the correct way to escalate a case like this, I would be extremely grateful for any help.
P. S. I asked ChatGPT to help me structure and translate this post so that you wouldn’t have to read through a huge wall of angry and emotional messages from me. The story, details, evidence, and opinions described above are entirely my own.
