Next time when you shade something smooth make sure to add the “edge split” modifier if using blender.

Nice knife! I really think it’s good for a first 3D model! Here are my tips:

  • Make the knife a bit sharper. It’s dull at the tip.
  • Add a bit more texture to it. It’s made of just plastic and could use some metal and wire textures
  • Other than that, looks good!

That reminds me the world’s most powerful knife, in Malay is known as keris. I don’t know what’s in English. It’s a very good model, I like it. Keep it up.

Not bad for the first try. Practice more often!
Also try looking for a reference at real images / games so you’ll know what to add/make for your next models.

pretty good for your first try. But the Smoothness made it look bad. Try to make sharp edges for it and im sure it will look 100x better

Looks good for a first model, try to make the edges sharper and straight to closer resemble a realistic knife

Nice model, however can you try making it less softer and more sharper at the end (because it looks like a toy knife or something)?

What software do you use for make that?

I like the model but it needs to be smoother on the sides and more pointier at the blade.

I use Blender, since it’s free.

You need to make that more sharper, add subdivision surface to make that smoother, retexture with PBR texture… Use Subtance Painter for the best results.
