Hello my name is UNTAMEABLEtheWOLF, and i need help on a build.
So I’v been learning to develop on ROBLOX, mainly scripting. I want to make games on ROBLOX! But yesterday my internet wasn’t working to good so I couldn’t watch my tutorials “at least without it buffering” so i decided to hop on studio and work on my building skills. And I made this- Fall Test - Roblox
And i know it needs detail, but i just don’t know what! Any suggestions?

You need more variety with the trees, I can only see 3 different trees: one with 1 grass part , another with 2 grass part and one without leaves.
Also, the chimney smoke is pretty boring, it’s just a ball of smoke, try different settings to make it look like more alive
And the most important: need less sunrays

Thank you! I did notice that the sun was pretty bright, And I do need more trees, im not the best at trees so i did not do that much, thank you for the advice!

I agree with @Vivi20910. It does need more varieties of trees. I love the lighting and setting. I’m not sure what you are aiming for in the game. I also like the cabin, and it is charming. Other than that all you need is some more trees and possible more buildings and you should be fine and lower the lighting just a bit and you should be fine.

Ya, I was aiming for a place that’s peaceful and relaxing, but also have a solitude fill to it. The place was mainly to test my building skills and experiment, thank you for the advice!

Yeah, make the chimney more detailed. Also change the lighting up, and a different variety of trees. The bed also needs to be detailed, other than that looks good for a first.

I really like your map, for the simple ones but I think it lacks many factors, as many other players have told you, my opinion is that it is better than the land for the most colorful sea the house and a recommendation (nothing that see with the subject) that you try to pamper yourself in what you try to do, I mean if you are doing a realistic game you indulge in that and do not do something more realistic than another.
Wow! Your game is very beautiful. I love the sounds and the builds. I agree with everyone that you should make the trees not so boring with the copy and pasted look. Do you use blender? It is very useful and helpful with the style you put in your game. My first blender creation was a tree that wasn’t that bad.
This is the tree I built. I think if you build something similar to this, your game would look great!
For the chimney, I would change the material as the concrete doesn’t really match the cabin. Speaking of the cabin, I would make it a bit taller because I can jump on the roof which isn’t legit at all lol.
Also, I would fix the flooring in the cabin as well. There is two different types of flooring. I don’t know if it was on purpose or not, but it looks kind of funny.

First off, the terrain is nice on the edges. It’s a bit unnatural for the ground to be COMPLETELY flat, and it bugs me a bit. Plus, the trees are just copied and pasted, and quite simple. Either make more advanced trees, or different types of trees.
The cabin needs some work, add in some smaller details and try to make the bed less… blocky and fat.
First, all the trees just look the same. You should add some variety to the trees.
Second, try to make the cottage bigger, and add more detail to that. For instance, try to add other furniture to the cottage. Also try to work on making the bed not look blocky.
I think your peaceful game is very amazing. I like all the fall tree with the kind of, colors you added to the place it really gives it that relaxing feel to it. And the vegetation sounds you added to the place really brings your game! Out more and it well look more better with other details, you plan on adding to your fall game and around the map itself however. I feel like you should add some rocks, sugar maple tree, black tupelo, scarlet oak, green ash, katsura tree, ect. As that’s most needed around fall kind of, environments you could try adding a couple of. More vegetation around! On the sand part and around the map so it could be filled, with the details that’s it’s suppose to have in fall places. However i see you added a (Small Wood Concrete Cabin) which adds, a nice addition to your place for testing your building skills i feel. Like you should implement some, wooden benches, rocks, on the sand part or on the beach! Area so players could sit and look around and relax at a peaceful place. And so it could look like the real life ones, as the you could see the real life which is called! (Snowmass, Colorado) it’s irrefutably gorgeous in the warm-weather. Because that’s when all the vegetation turns green, and it implements mountains with trees, grass, rocks, plants, ect. You could add some details around the map so! It could look like a full down relaxing place featuring all the different kind, of fall trees and leaves on the ground to give it that overall look. And then other different kind of fall trees i see you, added a small cabin which adds a nice addition.
To the place and, different areas you would see in a relaxing peaceful kind of environment place however you don’t need to add a bunch of plants, trees since it’s a working on your building skills test place so. I wouldn’t add that much to it overall i think the, cabin is a nice feature that you add! To the place but i would try making it more open such as adding some chairs, boxes, tables, lights, candle, ect. Around it so it could look peaceful as you could either put some chairs on the front of the cabin. So people can sit and look at the sun and relax. As the ones in real life try adding some! Water plants inside the lake, pond such as lily pads, flowers, dracaena plants, rocks, and then if you plan to add other kind of feature. Plants i would most likely go far it i know it would look more better with the final details your going to add but for know it has that peaceful kind, of feel to it and i really like the mountains waterfall and the realistic lake. I can say with other trees vegetation your game would! Look more relaxing with the other decorations, that’s going to be add to the place once it’s, done i know it will look! A lot more better. And improved as well try adding other features of plants in the lake to give it relaxing look.
Overall, i think you have a great place here i believe you have done a very amazing job. Making this peaceful place but since, you need suggestions those are! Some of them i would suggest you add to your fall game so it could look more improved. And add different kind of details decorations vegetation and others around the whole map so it could. Match that real life feel to it know it’s time to add a couple of more, things around the pond area only if you want it to be! filled with vegetation plants i highly suggest you try your best to make other types of trees. And other plants i gave you some above that will help you improve your building skills and add things inside your game. I know with the final details you add to your fall place it will stand out a lot more! However try adding some branches, sticks, leaves, on the ground you also try making taller, trees since that’s what’s in fall kind of environments. Anyways i know there is a lot of more things you got, to add to the place so it would take some time. Hope to see the final update very soon i will be visiting. Once it’s completed overall great job on your beautiful fall relaxing place! You have done a really nice job on it so far.

Thank you! I’m glad that you like it! The floor being two different types of floors was a mistake, I honestly don’t know how i missed it, so thank you! I do like your trees, i’m thinking about learning to model in blender! I want more realistic trees to match the rest of the game, so trees made in blender would be better! Right now I only use blender to render things. Thank you for all of your suggestions!

The game has a really peaceful vibe which I really enjoy and the sounds really add to the game.
I think adding some levels would be nice, the game feels really ‘flat’ at the moment and also more variety with trees and scenery would really make the game feel more detailed in my opinion.

Wow. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting very much for a first build but you’ve really proved me wrong. There’s something about the simplicity yet attention to detail in the game I can’t quite describe. You’ve built this with a style that is very reminiscent of Roblox a few years ago. It’s not overwhelmingly detailed but I think you have a lot of potential here. I’d suggest looking at pictures of houses, for example, and constructing them as you see them if you want to get the most detail. Very nice job 
But please make the sun rays a bit less intense!

The sunrays are a bit intense, keeping a large portion of the map hard to see. Maybe add some more variation to terrain like hills or another body of water. I would consider adding something else into the house like a cupboard or small table. I’m liking the building style you’re going with so far, and I like seeing your attention to sound and lighting. Keep it up!

Ya, it is a bit flat. I’m going to fix that! I’ll ad some hills and stuff. The game is very peaceful, Like if you walk to the ocean you can hear seagulls. I love the sound, it helps the peaceful vibe! Thank you!
