My guess: It is a good start on mesh making!
I like the concept of the mesh, but maybe make it more detailed and realistic like a real pencil would have, if you know what I mean there. The texture seems good, but could look a bit better.
Overall, it is a nice start on making meshes, nice work!

Yes it is a good start. You start with small things and then progress quite a lot once you get the hang of it. Right now try practicing both Texturing and modelling several small items. Would recommend making a Donut using Blender Guru’s Tutorial. It explains a lot about modelling in depth and show’s you how you can make many meshes Aesthetic. Good Job and Good Luck in your future work!

I personally think its an amazing start. I started with a cone. lol.
