Does the hammer show for both of us or do I have to script that?

your question is a little confusing, tools show regardless of scripting. Now if you want them to do somthing that has to be scripted.

what i mean is when you make a game it shows a hammer icon will the hammer icon show for both of us or just me

I believe that they mean whether or not the developer hammer shows up for both of them in the player leaderboard.
