My game Parkour bumper is blocked in 19 regions including where I am the developer. When any player from these regions tries to open the game they get the message ( something went wrong 404 page not found) The game has no inappropriate content, maturity rating is Minimal and the questionnaire is fully completed. The block caused a significant drop in daily active users
The game should be accessible in all 19 blocked regions, especially in where I live as the developer. The game has a Minimal maturity rating, a fully completed questionnaire, and contains no content that would justify a regional block.
This is most likely not a simple “bug,” but a result of Roblox’s regional content availability system.
Roblox states that experiences can be restricted or made unplayable in certain regions due to legal, regulatory, or compliance requirements, and when that happens the game becomes undiscoverable or inaccessible in those countries even for the developer.
So even if your game itself hasn’t changed, Roblox can still:
block it in specific countries,
remove it from search in those regions,
or make it appear as “unavailable” depending on local compliance decisions.
Unfortunately, these restrictions are not always transparent and developers don’t always get detailed explanations or alerts when a region is affected.
It’s also not necessarily a “ban on your game,” but more of a regional compliance filter applied at platform level, which is why even you as the developer may not be able to access it from your own country if it falls under the affected region list.
Still, Roblox should improve transparency here, because not giving clear reasons or dashboards for regional blocks makes it very hard for developers to debug or support their users.
