My Low Poly Style!

Hello how are you? I am a new builder and wanted to see what they think about this.

Hi @GanzoDev! I think your builds are amazing considering you are a new builder. I do have some suggestions though.
First off, your shop seems a little bit too bright, and the door (as well as the windows) looks a little off centered.
On your other building the medium window on the left side (when looking straight-on) looks a little off-centered compared to the other windows. Also, I am assuming that the little blue things underneath the windows are balconies and if so, I think it is a little odd to have them, as people would have to exit through the windows to go out to the balcony. Lastly the door looks very big compared to the other parts on the building. Other than that, great job! I hope you improve in your building!

Thanks I will improve the aspects you say!

No problem! Good luck on your building! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Considering the fact that you are a new builder, you did a great job. Only complaint I have is the colors of the place in the first pic, imo it seems a bit too bright and kind of hurts my eyes. Other than that, great job ! :grinning:

I must say that you did pretty well on these buildings. On the first screenshot, I absolutely love how you actually tried to make the windows look shiny and made it stand out more. I recommend that you should change the green to a purple since purple really compliments the pink. I have some problem with the second image, it looks nice but does the balcony can only be accessed through the window? If not, then I think you left a mistake there.

Nicely done :+1:. I do however agree that the coloring for the first picture is to bright and can hurt someone’s eyes. As well the window in the first picture is off centered.

very bright but good job on the build itself

Expanding onto what @Cindy_Lennox mentioned above in this thread, your builds will pop out more if you try to understand colour theory. Which colours compliment each other, etc.

You may want to try just a couple darker colors to let the eye rest, as it is very bright (I love the colors though, don’t do away with them). A strong point of your build is the windows in the first picture, the part reflections look really nice.

I am guessing that you enjoy limiting yourself to a few colours? However, if you want to improve in building, I do suggest that you start using a variety of different colours and if you are going for realistic, you could add textures and different materials to your builds too. Otherwise, feel free to use the plain material as low-poly is actually used a lot in the community for the past few years and most games with it are usually successful if done correctly.
