Hello everyone,
My name is Davide, also known online as Zaid, and I am a 17-year-old Roblox developer and designer from Italy.
I am writing this post because I have been trying for days to find a way to get my account reviewed, but I currently have no way to properly appeal my termination.
Roblox has been a huge part of my life for several years. I started creating on the platform when I was younger, learning Roblox Studio, game development, building, UI/UX design, graphics, branding, and community management.
Over time, I have worked on different projects, collaborated with other creators, and built my experience as a young developer. My journey as a Roblox creator has also received attention outside the platform, including being featured by Italian media such as La Repubblica, where my experience as a young creator was discussed.
Throughout my journey on Roblox, I have also had the opportunity to be recognized by the Roblox community and participate in important creator events. I have been invited multiple times to the Roblox Developer Conference (RDC) and the Roblox Innovation Awards (RIAs) , including invitations in 2025 and 2026 , as a recognition of my work and involvement as a young creator on the platform.
I am not sharing this to ask for special treatment or to receive exceptions to Roblox’s rules. I am sharing this because Roblox is a platform that helped me grow creatively, and I would like my account to be judged based on my own actions and involvement, rather than content created by someone else.
What happened
My Roblox account:
Username: davidgensupr2
was terminated for:
Reason: Real-World Sensitive Events
The moderation message says:
“Roblox prohibits content that recreates, mocks, or capitalizes off of specific real-world sensitive events.”
The reviewed content was:
Asset Name: So happy rn
Asset ID: 113320559300707
Review date: July 17, 2026 at 1:14 AM
I want to make something completely clear:
I did not create this asset, I did not upload this asset.
I was not involved in making this content.
I did not know this asset existed.
From what I understand, my account was connected to this situation because I was added to the group where this content existed.
I was invited into the group and was given a role, but I was not part of the development, management, moderation, or creation of the content that caused the violation.
I believe my account was punished because of an association with a group, rather than because of something I personally created or did.
Other accounts were affected
A friend of mine was also terminated in the same situation.
Just like me, he was not involved in creating the asset and did not participate in making the content that caused the moderation action.
This makes me believe that multiple users may have been affected simply because they were members of the same group, even though they were not responsible for the content.
The biggest problem: I cannot appeal
The biggest issue is that I cannot even properly explain my situation to Roblox.
When I go to:
Violations & Appeals → Recent Violations
my termination does not appear.
Because of this, I do not have the option to submit an appeal through the official system.
I have already:
- Contacted Roblox Support multiple times.
- Explained that I was not involved with the asset.
- Tried following the appeal process.
- Contacted the European DSA channel.
However, I keep being redirected back to the appeal system, while my violation is not available there.
I am stuck in a loop where I cannot provide my side of the story to the moderation team.
Why I am asking for help
I completely understand that Roblox must enforce its Community Standards, especially regarding sensitive real-world events.
I am not asking Roblox to ignore its rules.
If content violates the rules, I understand that action needs to be taken against the people responsible.
My request is simply that my account is reviewed separately and fairly, because I believe I was not responsible for the asset that caused the termination.
I have spent years building my reputation as a creator on Roblox. This platform helped me discover my passion for development and design, and losing access to my account without even having the chance to explain what happened has been extremely frustrating.
What I am asking
If any Roblox staff member or experienced community member sees this post, I would really appreciate any help or advice.
I am asking for:
- A manual review of my account.
- A review of my connection with the group and the asset.
- The possibility to submit a proper appeal.
I am not trying to avoid Roblox’s rules.
I only want my account to be judged based on my own actions, not content created by someone else.
