A way to see all the places that you have thumbed up.
pretty simple i guess
EDIT : Reason I want this is because there’s a lot of cool places that I’ve forgotten about that I’ve probably thumbed up over my time in Roblox, so I would love to go through this category.
It’d be cool, but if public, using some web scraping it may allow people to detect thumbs up/thumbs down and ROBLOX didn’t want to allow us to do that (I forgot why). However, I think if this was shown internally (i.e. to you only) it would work, and would be useful.
To be honest, ROBLOX should allow us to group places like we want to and then feature them on our profiles. A good example would be Scratch; it shows the projects you have shared and favorited, as well as ‘studios’ (essentially groups of projects put together) you have followed or curate. (add projects to, manage etc.) I feel this would be a much more powerful system and would allow for a lot more than just showing predefined lists of places.
An argument you commonly get when posting about this idea is basically
“I don’t want to see my thumbs upped games.”
Exact quote:
“In fact, if there was a “liked” sort, I would probably like a lot less games”
warning: linked to year old post so don’t reply to it

…what? “In fact, if there was a “liked” sort” “liked sort” >“Liked sort”
That means something else. That means if that sort was visible on the games page for you, instead of hidden in the drop-down, you’ll see the same games you already liked so you’d be exposed to less new stuff. That’s what that means. So your link is irrelevant lol
Anyway, Youtube has this. It publicly visible by default, so finitereality you’re right about potential data mining, so force it local.
Places could actually check if you gave a thumbs up and reward you for it/punish you for not doing so. That way you could encourage players to give your game a better rating than it deserves.
To be honest, I can’t think of a legitimate use-case for reading off a specific players’ thumbs up status on a game.

I agree, this feature would be nice, but it definitely shouldn’t be public.

Well if I were to find out someone had thumbs down my game I would do something like when they join next
‘I’m sorry this game didn’t meet your expectations. Here at Unicorn Studios we aim high in our standards of the game and we value any comments you may have to help the game improve, would you like to make a comment why? Doing so will reward you with <20 points>’
I’d do something similar to people who thumbed up the game as well to keep it balanced
‘Nice going, thanks for supporting this game. Take 20 points on us!’

It’s unlikely to happen and I wouldn’t be bothered if It didn’t happen as most people will just abuse it like mentioned
@anon80475429: Or… You could just prompt them 5-10 minutes after they join or the next time they join the game and ask them “Are you having a pleasant time? What can we do to improve your experience? You get 20 points for answering!” and you’ll get the same result.
