Just tried accessing the developer forums and I was logged in with “Bakers1” (no I don’t own an account with this name.)
Bug with Discourse. It thinks your account already exists so it creates a new one with your name and an added 1 at the end. It does nothing, and logging in and out again fixes it. It was really common when the move to Discourse occured.
