I want to find a creative and engaging name for my new game that resonates with the game and will have a lasting effect on how it attracts future players.
I am struggling to come up with a name that captures the essence of the game, is unique, and appeals to a long-lasting player base. The current ideas either feel too generic or don’t fully convey the game’s theme and excitement.
Analyzing the game’s core elements, such as its features, maps, and lore, to derive a name that highlights these features, has been helping but I’m still struggling.
Ive researched in so many ways, and only a few names feel special.
I’d really appreciate help from the community. Its a thrilling car game with brand new dynamics and its filled with unexplored land and adventures that can be had with friends.
I’m also a bit bad coming up with names / titles, but what’s been doing it for me lately is theming the name after the intended player experience / moral (?) of the game. I’m sorry, but I don’t know exactly how to put it into words.
Looking at this, I think it would be important to convey that it is (or can be) a shared experience. Find a way to highlight the unexplored land without directly stating it. I find that people tend to do this by naming some sort of exotic place people haven’t been, (think Journey to the Center of the Earth or No Man’s Sky).
I don’t have any clue where your game is set, so I’m going to assume it takes place on land, but considering most people live on land words like ‘Horizon’ or ‘Expanse’ are more likely to achieve the intended effect.
A bit harder to explain, but you could also allude to the experience of exploration and traveling to imply an unknown land (remember, a land is never completely explored until you tell the player otherwise or they search every inch themselves).
Taking into account the above, my best suggestions would be:
The Journeys that We Travel
Our Way to the Horizon
Or if you wanted to emphasize the car part more:
Burning Rubber Expanse
