I like minimalistic UI, and I do the same a lot, I think 1 thing that would help even a tiny bit is first make sure it doesn’t interfere with the topbar, or you can make a blank space right above the UI that will go to the topbar so it doesnt look weird (for the left UI).
when ui is feeling bland i take advantage of UIStrokes and UIGradients by making a new invisible frame, right in the middle of its parent, but just a tad bit smaller, then i add a stroke, and use a uigradient, if you wanna go the extra mile, you can make a local script in the frame that rotates the uigradient very slowly and creates this cool effect that makes it feel more alive, other than those 2 things, if it feels bland i try adding monotone colors in some places, (sometimes with gradients in the frames), or just random effects.
Thanks, tmi will move the elements in the left side lower, i dont know why i didnt think of that.
Im not sure what you mean here, like double line border but the inner one has transparent sections? Sorry im not really following what you mean here but it sounds interesting.
Now that you mention UIGradient, i could make the underlines at missions and stats a bit sharper using the gradual transparency, i will try it tomorrow.
yes sorry for not clarifying, i mean what you said, where its a double stroke but inner has transparency or fading. also try using UICorners in the frames with sharp corners, even setting their corner size to just 0,3 makes it not so sharp and boxy
i would say its good but then again I’m pretty biased seeing as I do the same thing a lot, so I would like to get someone else’s opinion too. other than that, you did exactly what I meant, the corner doesn’t have to be so round, play around with the settings because too round or too sharp can be less aesthetic than a good value
