Hello there!
I have made my first UI in the game and I want to see if I need to make any changes. This UI changes the truck’s lights.
The UI is really bright and does not really fit the darkness in the car
The text needs some UIStroke (for the text with white textcolor) and a bit more boldness and need to be a bit smaller
The UI needs some more vfx for when you click or hover over the button
It is really really big and needs to be smaller
Probably have the buttons be triggered when someone presses a key not when they press the button
I’m showcasing the UI at night, because of the lights. You can toggle it in daylight.
I’m working on that, currently I need this UI, so the lights can function. Also this is going to be the only way you can change dashboard light intensity.
Prob have the frame no gradiant, 27,27,27 color, and transparency 0.3-0.7 then to fix that
If you make all the frames black or black with transparency then it looks good with dark and light
Even the button frames, just add uistroke so they are visible
There’s just the backgroud as a “frame”. Unless you mean getting rid of the glow on everything.
Here is also a comparrison between the two versions in daylight:
Make the main frame 0.3 transparency and size down the entire thing like 0.5x
Prob do remove the glow but keep that outline pattern
Tthe frame looks good on that, move it down to middle of screen on the Y axis
first its somewhat strange you control the cars functions from a phone. and also that you arent even holding the phone to begin with
That’s not meant to be a phone, but rather a window.
This UI looks good! Nice job on it! How long did it take to make? It is basic and simple and does its job!
I guess like an hour and a half (if you count the deleted aero)?
the first one is mainly better in my opinion because it’s way less obstructive. it feels like I’m blind in one eye when there’s a UI that takes up half of the screen
