Need feedback on how to make icon for GFX better

Hi!

I am a GFX Designer and working on multiple commissions at the moment.

I made this floatie icon in photoshop for one of my commissions. I need help/feedback on how I can make this better.

I would greatly appreciate some tips on how to make this icon better!

I see the white spots on the red stripes that represent the sunlight but the floatie itself is looking a bit flat! I recommend adding some shadows to it in order to make it more “3d” like.
But it is a nice design!

Edit : I would also add that the two lateral red stripes aren’t the same size as the top and the bottom one. I suggest making them all the same size for it to look “more symmetrical”.
