Hey guys! I’ve been needing some help on this for a while, so I thought I might reach out to the Developer Forums once again.
I’ve been trying to design a grab attack that essentially welds the target and attacker together and moves the attacker slightly forward, before releasing the target.
I want it to look something like this: Watch 2025-08-08 23-56-17 | Streamable
The issue is that welding the target and attacker doesn’t seem to be the right way to go about it, since the attacker freezes in place and doesn’t move forward alongside the target, resulting in weird bugs on the target’s end and a generally rough grab attack.
Does anyone know what the scripters of Legends Battlegrounds (the game played in the video) could be doing to have such smooth movement while still having the properties of a weld?
Any help is appreciated.
