Okay so for the past almost month ive been working on my horror game inspired by doors, and the rooms look okay but not super good, what are some ways/tips i can use to make my rooms look more readable and eye catching?
Can you upload an image?
Maybe add some baseboards; it is hard to tell, but it looks like you added some In the last image but not in the others. This would give a better distinction between the floor and the walls.
i could do that, for the ceiling it also looks kinda flat, what could i do for that, could i kinda make it like an arch?
Yes, an arched ceiling would look much better. The simplest version: instead of one flat ceiling plane, use 3 angled planes; a flat center strip and two angled side pieces that slope down toward the top of the walls (basically an octagonal/paneled vault, not a smooth curve).
I can’t tell depth on this image, but it looks like you have an arched ceiling.
alright, thanks, i just needed some tips to improve the hotel rooms just to get them up-to date
Some separation amongst the walls in corners would be like, as in, you could have an differently colored wood column separating two walls meeting in a corner.
It is hard to see but i feel like some more color variety and trims to the windows and other places could help alot.
Hope this helps! ![]()
