Hello, me and my friend are currently working on a game called Neon Jancture and i’d like to get some feedback. This is round based race like game with hook mechanic (Thanks to Boogagle). Currently, there are no awards (and no currency) from winning a race, mostly because i don’t really know what would player spend it for. So, there is one more thing i want to get your opinions on.
Be free to suggest how improve the current state of the game.
Note: game uses free models due to lack of modelling skills
Great game. I have a LOT of feedback because I’ve been playing it for so long and saw some things that could be improved. Here you go! (There’s a bug where your camera gets stuck and it randomly fixes but it’s not too game breaking. Doesn’t let you move your camera.)
It doesn’t seem terrible. The music isn’t bad, maybe adding a more rhythm game feel instead of a calm vibe would really help.
You should really make the things you hook to more fun and colourful, like in the instance of 1 of your maps where they are lanterns. You should give this feel to every single one of your maps.
Maybe add a button that says AFK so someone can practice and not join games.
Like most games, this one definitely needs a tutorial. It’s a harder game out there and would really help new players.
You should make the basic blocks in your game (like the start one) more detailed or even change it completely to fit every levels theme. Add more variety to the open space, too, it’s quite empty.
For a shop you could make different rope colours where you buy crates or something along the lines of that and it starts a random draw (do a rarity system like other case games) and pick a level (for robux and the currency). It would help you benefit and you should be able to buy the currency too.
Add a level system. At a certain level, you get less currency for easy maps. You’ll have to transition to a new game, which is the harder version, (like tower of hell has) and it will give you more coins.
For more robux, you can buy things like pets, pick the next map, currency, VIP, etc.
That’s all I have to say, and it seems like a great game. If you can, can you tell me which free models you used? Some free models may have backdoors, lag your game or are just easy to make . You have created a great game though, be proud. Good luck on your future game creation and hope you take my tips into account.
The controls are pretty annoying. The game it self should have a tutorial system or something similar to that to explain how to play the game. The maps also end very quickly and don’t give players enough time to finish. Their are also many problems/bugs for example some blocks in the maps would not let me hook onto it.
It’s a decent game it just needs more attention and so bug fixes.
