What does this plugin bring us that other existing ones don’t have yet?
I’d say the thing that needs the most improvement is both the UI and UX design for your plugin.
Currently the UI is on screen which is also an on-screen UI, you should switch to widgets if you intend to interact with UI elements indirectly like that.
The UX design should have the plugin be as tiny as possible, but bring as much of it’s features to it’s user.
Now, if you want to keep the on-screen UI, I suggest you make it like a frame that wraps your selected UI objects and gives you buttons and/or drop down options that convert UI in different ways. Perhaps you can also make the plugin accept custom written code that the users can run to scale UI in very specific ways too, but that’s getting too out of hand there.
some of the people need the easy way that why i made this plugin, not everyone can understanding the UIAspectRatioConstraints, example for new who uses studio, and that actually save time
the olds verison of other plugins does not work on new version of roblox studio and yes i made this plugin in 30 min i didnt have time for make design for the UI, but in next update i will make sure to make something new and new ui design but thanks for suggestion tho
But then users will need to learn your plugin, which is an extra step to applying UIAspectRatioConstraints? I’d rather just learn the instance directly. There’s plenty of documentation and videos on how to use it.
Please do an actual research before judging.
You misinformed yourself and are trying to misinform others.
How come instance responsible for RATIO be related to scaling?
Do research before critisizing anybody!
In my first post, I mentioned UIAspectRatioConstraints and scale (in UDim2). The constraint instance will help you maintain the same shape. Logically the plugin would use both, otherwise why would it be a plugin in the first place if it just sets one property?
If I completely misunderstood the resource, I don’t think it’s my fault. The original post comes with only a few images and zero explanation of what the plugin does.
