Hello, I am tysyaka. I am having issues in 2023 with the new chat system and is wondering how to remove this as I am having some issues and I’ve been following multiple scripting tutorials how to remove it but they have just been removing the chat system fully/not working.
If you could help me with this I would be really appreciative.
game:GetService("StarterGui"):SetCoreGuiEnabled(Enum.CoreGuiType.Chat, false)
would disable it.
or are you asking how to revert it back to the old chat? is so, you can set it back to LegacyChatService

LocalScript in ReplicatedFirst is where I put it
Hey, I put the script in (removed the chat fully)
Then I removed the script and just put it in Legacy and you still can’t chat.
Unsure what exactly you mean by this? If the script isn’t there then you should be able to chat?
It had the chat logo but the chat bar was fully removed (and with the script there was no chat at all)
make sure this enabled
It is enabled.
