New game feedback and advice

(remaking this post since my last one got no feedback)
After about 3 months of working on my game I’ve gotten to a point where I feel confident enough to release it, but I’d still like to know what other people thought about my game and things I could improve on. My game is called Pass the Bomb Ultimate and in my game you either pass the bomb or avoid being passed to. In addition to game feedback, I would also like to know what are the best strategies to make sure my game does well. (have a consistent amount of players) And what works better for a game like mine, advertisements or sponsors. Here are some pictures for people who can’t play the game at the moment.

Alright buddy, after playing the game, here is my constructive feedback:

Overall, the game looks nice & promising, it has a potential!
Now, here are the great points:
-The thumbnails look appealing and nice.
-The Shop looks nice and appealing.
-The coin shop looks pretty decent and good.[but please fix the gap between of them, it’s too vast, I am talking about the vertical gap]
-Inventory looks good
-leaderboard looks nice and good.
-Met the owner badge icon looks nice (as well as the first win)
-Gamepass shop looks nice.
-I like the chat.

Here are the points [in my opinion], that need a bit of improvement:
-The map:
*The big cobblestone path doesnt fit, try to make a path built with few materials [like the one in mm2]
*Try to decorate it a bit more[status, etc]
-Gui:
*Try to make your gamepasses’ icons consistent, meaning - make them have something in common, such as the same shape/style.[can have different backround colors and text obviously, but same font on each]
*Try to make the ‘main’ buttons have the same style - can have different pictures and backround obviously, but try to make it consistent[ it’d also be better to put them on either the left or right side of the screen].
*Try to fix the ‘Hide’ chat size, it doesnt look matching.

Good luck:)

Yeah I think so as well, but I also have to account for the mobile movement buttons ui box. I’m probably going to put the sidebar icons on the right side instead, I just need to make sure it doesn’t get in the way of anything. But other than that I appreciate the criticism.

I read it as “Pass the bomb release ultimate”
I don’t design stuff like this so I don’t know a lot but everything else looks good! I just think that the coin shop looks a little stale.

Yeah when I made that in photoshop I kinda had a brain fart with the placement of the words so I just kinda gave up and put it the way it is now.

I thought so as well since I made this at the beginning of the game’s development and I have since gotten significantly better at designing UI so I do plan on remaking it.
Thanks for the feedback

Sorry I didn’t give feedback on the last topic

I got the you met the owner badge and I do not think you were there
The pictures or thumbnails are nice,
Good job

Oh don’t worry it was a different topic, and I’ll look into the owners badge thing.

Okay

Okay so it was just the fact that I forgot to remove a line of code that I was using for testing.

So I was only able to take some of your suggestions: 2022-06-07 17-36-07

Already better in my opinion. Keep it up!

Looks good, feels like MM2. A hot potato mechanic is a proven enjoyable experience.
I’d expand the game to include different gamemodes–top of my head: there are multiple bombs but only one is the real one and players can test the bomb they have at a machine.

Nice, its like hot potato! One thing tho, if your game doesnt get really popular and only one person wants to play, instead of needing 2 players or more to start you should allow the user to play with bots (also choose how many), this will 100% drive less people away from your game.

Building is inspired quite a bit by MM2 and most of scripting is inspired by Phantom forces and a couple other games.

I do plan on adding a couple more game modes in future updates and one within the next couple weeks so thanks for the feedback!

The main problem will be creating the bots. I’ve already spent 3 months creating the game and creating the bots will definitely take time to get right. It seems like a good idea but right now it’s not exactly feasible, but I do like the idea and I did consider it until remembering how my last AI experience went. I’ll still give it a shot and try implementing it later in the future. Right now I’m trying to save up robux so I can drop around 6k in sponsors on it to hopefully have at least two people in a server at all times. The main thing I need to happen for my game however is a content creator making a video on my game. I know for a fact that would really help the game, but the problem is I don’t know how I would do that.
