Well I hope the blackout 3 also works.
If you are unable to switch from one game engine to another, you may have chosen the wrong path. Maybe itâs time to think about becoming a store manager?
ive had similar experience of only learning LUAU for a while, in my experience its easy to pick up other languages if you have one programming language as versatile as luau down. Itâs mostly the syntax you have to worry about learning, but the core concepts still exist.
I really hope this gets reverted. The game I work on has took a massive hit because now we are stuck at 16+ even though we had met the 500 player requirement. However, we are still unable to publish for all ages. The owner doesnât have a id to upload and we lost most of our players.
My game is in the same exact situation, minus the ID part and reaching the 500 player mark despite having great retention and a promising future before this crap. It may actually be time to start looking at competitor platforms.
Itâs gotten way lower since August
$1,250 USD + Roblox for a risky investment just to see if your game is good. The very games they are trying to get rid of are still public to Roblox kids. Nice one. This isnât safety, itâs just a cash grab. My game made me 5,000 Robux a day until they added thisâ0 active now.
I feel your pain. What makes it even more infuriating beyond words, is slop games and low quality games seem to be getting through just fine. This is clear Roblox is prioritizing profits over developers. Not even ads are helping so at this rate Roblox is not sustainable as of the current point in time. They need to either lower the HEP goal to 25, which is how much it takes to maintain all ages, or better yet remove it completely, no in-between.
well its less severe now, so if u dont have any of theses, u need a youtuber to hype it up
You donât have to be rude about it and fine, maybe itâs not a waste
this is probably just new forummers trying to get the Member rank by liking random posts
we need a petition or something to remove this requirement
Howâs this update feel now that Robloxâs value is down $70B?
Then blaming developers for it while releasing anti-developer updates like Scoped User IDâs that make it far more irritating to ban bad actors.
I feel we are not fighting as hard as we should be fighting it. We really need to be going tooth and nail to get this rolled back completely. Itâs also not helping that a few devs are getting complacent, and a smaller few defending this like clowns.
They shouldnât have been putting developing behind paywalls and age verification shouldnât they
But what can we do? Weâre just the consumers, right? Those Roblox boycotts I see on YouTube and other places, I donât remember hearing that they actually worked
this is the only wall between me and me creating games
