Honestly, the new group interface is horrible, you cannot format the group wall so its always 1 line, and its only formatted when you use “more” button, also it hides social links so the only way you can see if a group has a discord is by hitting “more”

Another thing is groups with special characters unfortunately have to deal with this weird text font which causes more issues for other groups using that type of font

In my opinion I feel like this update was sort of unprecedented and has left creators as us in the dark having to either A. spend money to rename the group or B. having to suck up and deal with it
If it is possible at least allow us to format our group description to how we want it instead of a 1 line preview description
TBH, that’s probably deliberate. It gives players another way to tell if a group is the one they are after, as having special characters match normal characters allows people to mimic other groups’ names.
As for changing the description layout - I have no idea.
One nitpick I have is that community logos are forced to be in a circular frame.
What was wrong with having a full square? the left-handed panel that lists all the communities you’re in have them all squares there. Group logos, if they weren’t 1:1 squares when saved as a PNG, would snap to the top of the frame when uploaded to be a Group/Community logo. (Nowadays, I think the whole image stretches, so a rectangle would be forced to be a 1:1 square)
I don’t like this update either, it ruined a few of my groups’ thumbnails. Not every thumbnail will look good both as a square and as a circle. For example, my Chaotique group’s thumbnail was a square wooden frame surrounding chaotic scribbles, as a circle it just looks awful.

Looks like Roblox listened and reverted the logo back to being a square.
There’s still plenty wrong with the new layout update, but the logo being forced as a circle was by far the worst.
The logo is the face of the group, so to speak. Put on a pair of glasses or wear a hood your whole face changes.
That kind of change, to make the actually logo physically smaller by putting a circular frame on it infringes on creativity.
Glad that they listened to the community this time.
