Hey, recently I’ve been aware of a new Roblox bug that makes PC users unable to fully interact with their game. I felt the need to address this because I believe I may know why this is being caused.
This makes them:
- Unable to turn their camera
- Unable to move
- Unable to interact with any GUI that isn’t from CoreGui
I’ve recently figured out how that happens. This is due to the new Leaderboard UI that Roblox is currently rolling out to new clients
The same new UI is shown whenever the player joins a game, but gets hidden if the game sets the SetCoreGuiEnabled of Leaderboard off. (required for Custom Leaderboard UIs)
Infact, it does hide the Roblox Leaderboard but breaks the game and makes the user unable to interact with their game at all, unless they somehow click the close button really fast before the UI gets hidden.
An image from a previous Roblox thread by the user @SenseiWarrior shows the new Leaderboard UI that is the main culprit with players being unable to interact with their game. I didn’t want to have to deal with the hassle of trying to get my own screenshot.
As far as I know, this problem does not affect Mobile or Console users, only PC users.
