New roblox update for Asset permission kinda sucks and should be reverted or updated

This is my first time creating a topic so erm expect to maybe be in wrong category and not be great lol

so i work on a game called Piggy: Community Clash and we add a bunch of skins and since the owner can’t handle all anims and sounds we add for him with new roblox Animation permissions sounds

A few days ago we were adding a collab with Piggy The Lost Book when we tried to edit animations and like, one of the team editors uploaded an animation but i couldn’t change any animation id because roblox was saying i dont have permission like man we got permission of the anim its the same game can’t we just add it

also wanted to say that the new change so you can’t use asset with id as 0 is stupid because most of the times our animators are still animating and we need a way to not break our system because if an animation id is empty roblox breaks it, and i think it should be upgraded to atleast keep asset 0 and also let you edit an animation id if your team creators uploaded and the owner has access to it

if this topic is not great, its my first time making one lol, as always thanks for reading and hearing my complaint

btw checking again this issue is mainly and possibly only with animations

Has he joined asset permission beta? If so he should make audio public manually, ask for a keyframesequence and upload it under a group.
If you can’t edit instance from properties tab try doing it through command bar or replace instance

ye that script works i might have to make a plugin because its so annoying, like for some reason manually editing in a console bar script without the selection thing doesnt work at all it reverts once you check back and its rlly annoying, i will take a look at that beta program, also i think we are gonna migrate to a group soon to make development easier, thanks for the help!
