New type solver moving random parts/unions around

I’ve noticed that due to the new type solver being pushed out, a LOT of parts and unions are moving around to random locations. I’ve also noticed this with the beta, but I at least had the option to disable it. Disabling Workspace.UseNewLuauTypeSolver doesn’t do anything to fix the problem, and all parts that get shifted are anchored.
This only happens on the Client, both standard and Studio playtesting. Everything looks completely normal in Studio.

Examples:

Expected behavior

Parts would stay as they are in Studio, as shown below:

I’m still experiencing this, I just sent over the requested files for ya!

Hey Clinko,

Are you still experiencing this bizarre issue? If so, could you please attach the repro file / steps you sent over in the direct message to Reisdro_08 here? I think there’s a “Private Message” section that only Roblox Staff has access to

Thanks!

After replacing most of my models, no. I wonder if it’s instead related to SLIM being enabled on smaller parts, as I never changed the LOD of the new models back to SLIM.
I initially assumed it was the type solver since it used to corrupt unions back in beta stages, but SLIM seems to be the likely cause of the issue.

Hi Clinko,
Since you can’t reproduce right now, we’re going to close this issue. If it happens again please file a new report.

Thanks
