On latest Studio, when typing words like end, if you have a defined variable such as Frontend, Studio will suggest that and will actively override the end keyword.
Hi there, thank you for the report! This isn’t really an issue with Luau since it’s about autocomplete for keywords rather than things defined in the program, it’s more of a Studio issue, but it’s also fundamentally unresolvable. return can legally be followed by a binding, and it’s impossible for the engine to know your intention in general between “fuzzy-finding a variable to return” and “ending the branch you’re in.” Studio could choose to add keywords to this autocomplete listing for you though since you needn’t return a value here and you could put end to end the statement, and that would at least make it so you could select it (and fuzzy finding should prefer the exact match, so it should be first), but you can also just press ESC right now to cancel the window and leave your end as typed. Feel free to reopen this as a feature request for Studio’s Script Editor asking for keyword completions in contexts where you could complete a value or could complete a keyword and still have a legal program.
