New YouTube Series: UGC Zero to Hero & Worldbuilding + FREE UGC!

Hey Creators!

We are excited to announce two new YouTube series, with three episodes each! The first episode of both series are live today.

Making a UGC catalogue with Reverse_Polarity and Madison_Hatter2

Reverse_Polarity and Madison_Hatter2 are back to teach a n00b how to UGC, only this time it’s not me! They’ll be guiding voguebrunette over the course of three weeks as she sets out to create a UGC catalogue from scratch. She’ll start out on her own and see how far she gets with nothing but her smarts, the Roblox Doc Site, and the world wide web before having a weekly interview with the pros who’ll review her work and steer her in the right direction!

Last time we showed you how “easy” making UGC is if you have pros holding your hand and showing you everything step by step (just look at this beauty). This time we’re taking off the training wheels a bit and showing what it’s like to actually try to get into UGC from the ground up. When you’re just starting out, not knowing what you don’t know is a significant factor!

This series is aimed at preserving the “beginner’s fog” and letting Reverse and Madison answer real questions from a real beginner. If you’ve never touched Blender, or tried and quickly changed your mind, this one’s for you!

And in keeping with tradition, at the end of each episode, voguebrunette’s completed UGC item will be available for free. In this first week she made a flower crown!

This is the final version she was able to make after the end of the series.

You can go grab it right now in the Roblox Learn Experience. What’s the Roblox Learn Experience? I’m so glad you asked. That brings us to-

Worldbuilding

Hal_Apenyo is kicking off our worldbuilding content with How to Greybox on Roblox. In this 3 part series he’ll be breaking down how he made the Roblox Learn Experience from nothing: from Grayboxing, to lighting, to final touches. He’s a treasure trove of information: if you’ve ever wanted to make beautiful worlds on Roblox but don’t know where to start, watch his stuff! After all, he’s the one who made this:

This is looking great!
I didn’t know there was an official Roblox channel with tutorials and educational videos like this :exploding_head:

I really appreciate the quality and the usefulness of these videos. They look super professional and to the point, with purpose behind them, covering important areas of game development—not just some random tutorials about vague and niche topics that I’d never even have a use for.
I don’t have time to watch them right now, but the effort that was put and the quality really shows.
Will definitely check it out more soon, especially that the format they’re in seems to be quite “free” (in that I don’t need to be sitting with Studio open, closely watching and following each step of it).
