The new Studio has a different method of collapsing the ribbon (which I prefer to do since it takes up 5% of my screen), and instead of an arrow it now takes a right click to access the option. This is unintuitive and takes more work to get your ribbon bar back permanently for a second, and I actually spent 10 minutes clicking around Studio trying to find this option. It will also come back temporarily if you hover over it for a second, but this can feel very jarring sometimes.
Take this situation for example (which happened within 3 minutes of using this temporary ribbon bar):
I am editing a script and what I was modifying and reading is towards the top of the script. Clicking play will take a second, so I usually hit play and keep looking over my code for a couple of seconds while Studio does its thing. Now, with the new temporary ribbon that pops up whenever I hover over the play button, I cannot see anything on the first few lines and it ends up jankily overlapping my script.
Or, say I happen to accidentally move my mouse a litttleee too much when clicking a script. The ribbon will then appear, so I have to hover off for a second, wait for it to disappear, and then try clicking it again.
As a programmer, it was much easier to just click the collapse/expand arrow or allow Studio to manage my ribbon for me when I rarely needed to use the ribbon. Before, Studio would only expand the ribbon when I clicked on a menu and then would automatically collapse it when I clicked on the viewport, which made it a lot more seamless than it is now. With this update, the ribbon is more of a hinderance than anything.
