Newly installed plugins do not update in the “add tools” panel unless you restart your entire studio.
This is a known issue with a fix making it’s way through the machine. Thanks for reporting!

Not in line with expectations.
Not as super powerful as imagined.
Some functions are unavailable.
It can only be folded and cannot be unfolded again.
Cannot be combined and folded.
Cannot add such functions and arrangement methods like this.
Cannot be dragged to change position. Currently, only left and right movements can be used.
If custom tabs can be shared,Feeling quite good.
When clicking restart after changing the settings, an error occurred once. It closed quickly and no picture was captured.

Thanks! Yes we are still very much a V1 type of product.
We would like to implement drag and drop for editing and allow for “complex controls” to be placed on custom tabs (also allowing community plugins to provide complex controls to be used). There’s active discussions and planning happening on both of these but no ETA at this time.

I see that the creation of our own Ribbon Tabs is finally working 
However - I have these ‘issues’ :
- You can only add 2 Tabs - then others go into the “Drop Down” extension.
- If the Tabs were not all locked to the same size - we could add 1 or 2 more Tabs (regardless even if only using 3 letters)
- I had 50-60 Plugins - but on the selection - I can only see ±33 to select from.
- When searching for the plugin - it shows creator & not plugin name - however once added, it shows the plugin name (confusing if you don’t know what creator made the plugin).
- Some plugins can add up to 4 icons on their own (not grouped as before with drop down) - wasting ribbon space.
I’m sure I can get by with this - but it’s not ideal - tho glad it’s working now.
I mention the above points only for possible improvement - and still a fan of the new design 
I will see how far I get … before having to look for something I am missing lol

Overflow is purely a function of how wide your window is. We don’t have a hard limit on visible tabs. I assume you’d prefer horizontal scrolling of tabs vs overflow menu?
You can hide the system tabs if you aren’t using them and they are taking up space:
We do offer the ability to cherry pick icons/tools from a plugin but I think it depends on how the plugin was designed. Here’s an example to make sure I understand the feedback:
I’ll be honest, overflow menu sucks. Ribbon should utilize a ScrollFrame that automatically expands with the Buttons it receives horizontally. (I don’t imagine it would be that hard with AutomaticCanvasSize?)

Some valid points there - that I didn’t consider.
- My screen resolution is 1360 x 768 (aware there is a minimum - now or later)
- Yes - pref horizontal & in the ribbon
- Oh yes - can also remove standard system ribbons - but unlikely would - my main goal is rearranging Plugins.
- Oh - my error on the multiple icons - can select only a few (like your image)
However - hopefully plugin creators will be mindful of the new layout - and create a drop-down for their own plugin - with just 1 main icon for the ribbon (rest drop down).)
Some plugins were like that in the old plugin system - I might need more testing in the new UI.

This is perhaps answered and I missed it. But is there plans of bringing these features coming to the new Ui? This was useful for quick access and for specific uses.
Hi, for some reason when I enable this beta feature the top bar is completely gone. If anybody have a solution for this, I will appreciate it.
EDIT: The reason was that my studio was outdated, for some reason I didn’t have the update notification.
Create a bug report about it, and send the engineers a private DM containing your Studio log files.
Yeah I don’t disagree with this.
All but video record are available right now…

I don’t think we expose a way for plugin devs to use the new “split button” control (dropdown button) but we absolutely plan for that.

I don’t think it should be greyed out until you hit a breakpoint. It just makes it more difficult to discover (and I only realized today how it probably works, after being confused for some time why I couldn’t interact with it).
But we just introduced a whole new system that fixes all the wonky enable/disable issues the old UI had. 
But it’s a fair point and I’ll relay back to our team.

whats this empty popup that cant be closed
also i noticed a wierd bug with the plugindebug service i have made some process with my plugin from there and saved it but in some way the plugin uses an older version

Please make the visual hover indicators represent the actual hitbox of the buttons. In both of these screenshots, clicking will cause the Scale option to be selected. But that’s not indicated by the UI because the hover is only shown when over the icon part of the button. Even if the hover indicator doesn’t correspond to the actual hitbox (which I also disagree with), the hover indicator should show when in any situation where clicking would activate the button.

I was wondering if you could add a duplicate button to the “Home” tab, it would make it better. I’m used to having a duplicate button in the tab, so it would make me not have to go through other stuff to click the duplicate button.
