Been getting this for the past few days. Initially reinstalling studio resolved this issue but continues the following day. This time reinstalling is not doing anything and I have been consistently getting this error when trying to start Roblox Studio today.
This happens regardless of how I attempt to start studio, whether its through the website by editing a place directly or opening the Roblox Studio application first.
There are no RBX log files, and very few marked as “.log”, especially not the recent ones. I did figure out that the anti-virus software that I am using (Kaspersky) is preventing studio from launching somehow. Disabling this fixes the issue entirely. This has never happened in the past and I have been using this software for years, not sure if there is some sort of conflict happening suddenly.
My previous reply fixes this, forgot to set it as solution. This still happens to me when the Kaspersky Antivirus is enabled, so it could be a related issue for you.
I could see the .504 error being caused by the outage that @Meat_Make is reporting but my report is specifically focusing on SslConnectFail which is unrelated. This still happens to me when the antivirus is enabled so its been disabled ever since.
