Happens to me too, I cannot play games with 0 players or use my OWN private servers because I cannot create the server.

still happening to me, cant join private servers at all and cant play games that teleport you places.
if you reconnect right after, its followed by 279

This just started happening to me today, no idea why
This has started happening to me across certain games as well. It’s not every game for me but it is consistently happening to select games. As far as I’ve seen there does not appear to be any logical cues as to why this is happening, there is no correlation between the games that seemingly are affected by this for me. Games like mm2 have worked without error but as of right now I’ve apparently lost the ability to play Catalog Avatar Creator upon attempting to join my friend through the join option via their profile. I have tested seeing if joining via friend breaks it but I’ve attempted to join a fresh server of another game without friend influence and have still been given the same error. This is strange.

I’m marking this thread as closed. For strategema the issue was specific to some dcs. But the issue has been resolved now. There shouldn’t be any 279s over the last 2 weeks. For the other places, for other folks in this thread, can you post your placeids in a separate Dev forum post? It’s likely due to a different reason that we can investigate once we have the placeids!
