None of my developers want to work on my game

I have been working on my game for some time now, but as time has gone on, the speed of my developers has slowed down. I do not know why that is happening. Why is this the case? It seems that for other games their developers work on it regularly.

Maybe they don’t like the direction the project is going - they may have had higher expectations on the other devs and don’t feel like the project is worth their time anymore seeing how it’s going.
Maybe it’s a chain reaction - one dev slowed down and everyone else seeing it didn’t want to work either.
Maybe they’re burned out - you may have pushed them too hard, and gotten them exhausted.

It can be because of many reasons. It really depends on many factors within the team and the project. You and your team should get together and discuss what they think of the project and how it’s going, and you should ask them what demotivates them if you haven’t already.

And keep in mind that progress is usually generally faster in the beginning of a project. And it can sometimes even seem that it’s slowing down even though it isn’t. You may be getting to the more complicated things. So maybe the same amount of progress is made, but it just isn’t as visible, and it seems like little progress.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I may have to agree with @Exarpo there’s many reasons to why developers don’t work on their normal speed and mostly it’s either they are burned out or you don’t pay them well

It could also be because of school or work
