Hello members of Northeast High School!
This is a very important topic as we have a lot of news to share with you!
Overview
So we ran into a problem obviously with timing and working out how to finish the game. I have VERY limited time and can only work on Saturdays and Sundays. I have both academics and sports that need my attention, and I still manage to get on here over the weekends. I underestimated how much time we would need as of course we passed the release date once again… i’m trying to give NHS enough attention, but quality takes time and mine is very limited. I will continue to work on it, but luckily we don’t have anyone actively waiting on us. I’m shooting for sometime around the holidays, but I cannot confirm any of this. I have a winter break coming up, so hopefully that will be beneficial to the project. We are also working on scripting, so our system runs smoothly when the game does get released.
Job Openings
Before we do release the game, we will be hiring a staff of about 45 people! This hiring process will be very strict and will involve applicants to go through 2-3 stages of interviews and applications! I will also be working on that, so expect a release for the interviews soon!
Testing
Please don’t hold me to this, but we will be opening our servers for testing very soon. We want to make the game as fun as possible, and that takes work. We want to create things such as quizzing systems for students, and activities they can partake in. This will take a lot of work, and that’s why our servers are in BETA! The full version will take time, so please expect glitches and all that stuff to occur within the servers. We will slowly release more parts to the game as time progresses. Our school store will also be released about a month after the initial game release.
Seasonal Updates
We will be turning NHS V3 into a winter wonderland! Snow everywhere and hopefully a nice Christmas Tree! These updates will apply to every season, so stay tuned!
