So, today while expressing opinions on a topic and commenting on a topic I realized that I could not quote anyone anymore
Proof:
Just a random example, but my point is, whenever I highlight text the little quote box does not show up, I don’t know if this is just me but it’s becoming really inconvinent
Also as far as I know this is happening in all categories, i even tested it

Adding on, I know there is a manual way to do this, but the highlight method is just faster and more efficient

As you can see I was able to quote this,
Not sure if this is a global issue

Was the topic you were trying to quote closed? I had reported this to meta.discourse.org , and here is the responses.
Pardon if there is still an open topic, been searching and the “your topic is similar to” also suggests closed topics. I would quote from pinned closed topic that refers to the rules but i can’t do that anymore without actually having to edit...

Might just be me then, I tried refreshing multiple times, didn’t fix it though

Did you have the composer open while attempting to quote?

Indeed I did, and in the past it worked just fine even when it wasn’t opened
