I am not allowed to delete my own topics

If a topic has a reply, it can’t be deleted by whoever posted it. It can only be deleted if no one’s replied.
Try asking a staff member to take it down, or flagging your topic.

Nobody is allowed to if you want it deleted flag it and a admin will delete if for you

Extending @M_caw’s point, this is hard baked into Discourse itself, if you want to request this to be changed, you can do so on their community forum
