Hello, developers.
I sent this bug report topic to inform the ROBLOX Team that I’m weirdly unable to view ROBLOX Staff members in the Developer Forum.
Proof:
I don’t know why this but this have to be patched because in case you need to reach a ROBLOX Staff member what are you going to do?
If the ROBLOX Team is reading this topic please solve the issue.
Regards.

This is intentional, there is no use case for needing to view all staff members. Please use public threads to give Roblox platform feedback, avoid private messages unless we ask you to message us.
I disagree; this isn’t transparent. The public has the right to know who the staff members are at Roblox. It almost seems like they are hiding something.
I was even confused when I saw it private. I saw it last year, and it was public; you could see their names. It was not until the controversies that they hid everyone.
This might be a little controversial, but honestly… This makes me wonder if Roblox is purposely just not being exactly… transparent with everyone just to appease their stockholders?
That is 100% the case, I personally invest in stocks and this does has something to do with appeasing stockholders. Basically, the company (the company that owns their own ticker) has to promote their product’s amazing features which will make the investors want to own a share of the company. It’s a little scummy I know but how Roblox handles it, it isn’t professional.
It’s been set up this way on the Developer Forum for multiple years.
There’s no use case to list Roblox accounts that are staff. Roblox usernames do not tell you who someone is or what they do at the company, so this line of reasoning is moot.
We’ll talk to you in the public topics, and you’re welcome to view people’s profile when they respond, we just don’t want users to list staff forum accounts because it elicits spam and noisy private messages. The best way to make sure Roblox sees your feedback is using public topics.
A use-case for something similar to this would be to search for specific posts from staff, mainly with group:staff. It currently doesn’t list all staff replies and only certain staff members, makes trying to find certain things you remember being stated impossible.
One related use-case I wanted to raise here is around private messages attached to bug reports.
To this day, I still regularly encounter situations where engineers cannot view the PM attached to a bug report, which contains crucial details to do with the report. In those cases, the engineer has to be manually added after the fact, which slows things down and introduces unnecessary friction.
What worries me is that this can realistically lead to reports being partially or entirely unaddressed, simply because the relevant engineers cannot see critical information that was intentionally provided via the attached PM.
This issue has been occurring for years. Are you guys aware + is there any fix planned?
