This is the update log developer forum post for Nowhere County’s second summer update:
- New game icons & thumbnails
The game icons & thumbnails have been updated to the new map accordingly. - Sheriff job & office!
This update we have added a Sheriff’s Office and a sheriff job, an alternative to police.
The sheriff’s office is located on the Train Island. - Updated guns & gun system
Due to some features of the gun system being better with first person (reloading, effects, scope)
we have added a first person mode into the gun system.
Third person has gotten a better looking crosshair, completely revamped animations and more
precise shooting.
Both sides have gotten completely fresh gun models and better bullet effects.
Removed guns: M4 Carbine, AKS-74U, Modified AR-15, MP9
Replacements: M4A1, AK-105, CAR-15, MP7 - Changes to the fishing system
We have made it so you can fish only at the boat dock at the Train Island or at the new park
(mentioned below). - A new park!
We have completely removed the old park on the main island and replaced it with a more
natural one. There is also a water feature in it, so you can fish right there. - A completely new lobby!
With the direction of the game, we have decided to completely revamp the lobby and make it a
City Hall instead. It is now much more realistic than the previous one and doesn’t have way
too much empty space. The park paths are connected to it. - Game name change!
(again) With the direction of the game, The Train City 2 simply doesn’t fit, as the game is not
doing much related with trains. We have decided to name the game Nowhere County, because
by lore, the game is on two islands far away from other lands. Later on, we will make a train
update. - Addition of an MDT & handcuffs update
We have added an MDT to the game to make it easier to check which players are wanted while
working on the police/sheriff team. The handcuffs’s functionality has been completely changed
since the beginning of the game, so we have added a model of them to the game. - Bailing out of jail
It can be frustrating to wait 3 minutes in jail doing nothing, so we have added a bail function
which allows players to get out of prison with Credits. The maximum credits required is 2484
Credits. - Changes to the wanted system
Before, if you were wanted and left the game, you’d instantly be sent to prison. Now, when that
is supposed to happen, instead you just keep your wanted time. - Added more buildings to make the county more lively
Pretty self-explanatory. - Small improvements and bug fixes
We are looking forward to see your feedback on this update. Feel free to post it on our community wall (or forums when roblox fully rolls them out). Enjoy!
