Obtastic - GUI, KillParts feedback

Good evening, I’ve been working on my Obby for some time now. I’m just getting the hang of basic scripting and starting to implement it. It isn’t completed yet, far from it, but I was wondering what I could improve. I have ironed a lot of bugs out, including the void spawning issue I had.

Stuff I would like feedback on mainly is the…

  1. GUI
  2. KillParts
  3. Custom Checkpoint sound - My own voice
  4. Anything else you can see really

Assets I have used from the toolbox and added my own scripts to.

  1. I have used a teleporter model from the toolbox.
  2. I have used a purple alien.
  3. TrussParts

Apart from them 3 things, the rest is my own creations. I do plan on creating my own assets to replace them.

Thanks.

I played it for around 20 - 30 min on my phone.
The GUI is nice, it doesn’t cover too much of my screen like most games do.
The Killparts… Kill? I guess. Not sure what you want to know. The respawntime is perfect, killdetection seems fine.
I like the checkpointsound, however:
1 I don’t hear it always, but it still saved the checkpoint.
2 I shouldn’t be able to hear other’s checkpoints, I played it with two friends and heard that sound already way too often.
Other feedback: I like the music.
The game is looking very good.
The stages are perfect designed, I never got upset on a stage for being too hard even though I died a lot (I suck in obbies).
After going through the portal, the player should anchor for like half a second I think, I often directly walked off the checkpoint after being teleported to it.
I would rate the game 10/10.

Sorry for the missing formatting, I’m still on my phone

Thanks for the feedback, did you void spawn at any point? I spent the best part of two weeks fixing it.

I didn’t experience even one bug.

And I forgot, the checkpoint’s decal looks like a conveyor belt. At least I thought that the first time. But I’m already used to it

It’s meant to be arrows to show you which direction to go. If it’s confusing, I can change them.
