Ocean Hotel - Community Information & Guidelines
Rules
1 - Behaviour
Here at Ocean, we believe each player deserves mutual and consistent positive respects whilst playing, avoid starting drama or arguing with other players whilst you are playing. Ocean Hotel’s administrators and staff have rights to warn you, and if you persist you will be removed from the game. We want all players to enjoy their time at our games.
2 - Trolling
- “Trolling” is strictly prohibited in all our games and always will be. We want our community to stay toxic-free, in order for every person visiting to experience the game-play without it being ruined. You will be removed or banned pending on the situation if you have to be warned multiple times by a staff member. Our HR team will not take tolerance against trolling, you will be kicked or banned without a doubt. Trolling can also include wearing racist or inappropriate shirts that bypass Roblox’s filter (for example 4 friends wearing shirts with letters on to spell out an inappropriate word) and will get you permanently banned.
3 - Cheating & Exploiting
You will get a permanent ban for exploiting our games. You will not be able to appeal.
‘Cheating’ can consist of:

Using unoriginal game assets to take advantage over other players.

Glitching into game-pass only areas.

Showing other people glitches or bugs that are in-game. (PLEASE REPORT THIS TO ANY MR+ RANK AND WE WILL POTENTIALLY FIX IT!)

Bringing obby swords outside the allowed areas. (This will already remove the swords if you do, but may take a few seconds for it to remove sometimes)

Loopholes around rules.
All the above can get you banned from Ocean under a reason of “Exploiting” or “Cheating”.
4 - Harassment & Dating
This hotel doesn’t allow any users to date or to show profanity in any form. You will be server banned straight away if you do so, if you become known for this your ban will swiftly turn permanent. Harassing other players in this type will also result in your removal from our games, once again we want a non-toxic community that is safe for all ages.
5 - Moderation Rights
If our HR administrators/moderators deem you to be committing anything against Roblox’s Terms of Use or our community guidelines, you will either be removed (kicked), banned or permanently banned from our games.
6 - Loopholes
Again, loopholes around Roblox’s Terms or our guidelines will result in the same moderation action displayed in 5 - Moderation Rights.
7 - Stealing Assets
Stealing, copying or editing Ocean Hotels’ assets will result in a take-down email sent to The Roblox Team, this is also infringing the “UGC Disclaimer” and “Restrictions” part of the Roblox Terms of Use. - ‘You may not copy, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code, modify, or create derivative works of the Service or any downloaded or underlying software or technology (except as and only to the extent any foregoing restriction is prohibited by applicable law), nor attempt to disable or circumvent any security or other technological measure designed to protect the Service, including any protections for Content Services.’
8 - Auxiliaries
Creating loopholes around anything is going to get you moderated, and potentially by Roblox too, going against Terms of Use of Roblox is backed up by Ocean Hotel, and using Roblox means you agree to their terms.

Be tolerant towards other’s viewpoints; respectfully disagree when opinions do not align

Respect the privacy and personal information of other players, communicate with courtesy and respect
Please do not:

Make personal attacks on other community members

Use defamatory remarks or make false statements against others

Chat prejudiced comments or profanity

Bully or make inflammatory remarks to other community members

Share Personal Information — including names, mailing addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, social media accounts (exceptional if Discord and you are 13+), student information, employment information for any commercial, advocacy, promotional, or political purpose is prohibited.
Consequences:
We will take action when we see someone violating these guidelines. Sometimes that just means giving someone a warning; other times it means revoking certain privileges or accounts by banning or kicking a user from our game(s). We request that all community members report behavior that violates our guidelines to our MR/HR team via the group wall, or in our Discord server visible to users 13+ on our group page, under ‘Social Links’.
NOTE
Please know that we currently have numerous moderators/administrators online every single day to make sure our game is being played appropriately, however we obviously cannot possibly be online every single hour around the clock to check up on our games. If you feel like a player is breaking any rules set by Roblox or Ocean in particular, you should use the in-game report abuse feature to report the user to Roblox administrators where they will be possibly punished to an extent as well as banned from Ocean. You can use the Discord server visible to users 13+ in the ‘Social Links’ tab of our group page to report players, our admins read and check every report with proof carefully and will sort it for you.
