Ocean Point Code of Conduct

The Ocean Point code of conduct is used to explain the current guidelines and basically the rules for Ocean Point. Anyone who reads this is expected to follow it, this will also be enforced as well.

  • Maturity
    Maturity is expected from the MR and HR team. Maturity involves using grammar, and setting a good example to the lower ranks. This includes not fooling around with others, not using commands for foolish reasons, not doing inappropriate things, etc.

  • Activity
    Activity is needed throughout the MR and HR team, this includes hosting events such as trainings, shifts, and assisting in them. We also ask for the MR/HR team to be active in the discord to look out for any reports/any updates.

  • Ingame
    The MR/HR team is expected to help out ingame, this includes answering questions, moderating/supervising, and overall doing your job. Using commands that are abusive or using the commands for false reasons will not be tolerated, any form of disrespect/rudeness will also not be tolerated. During trainings the MR/HR team will use commands fitted for training purposes only, we also ask for the MR/HR team to respect one another and not to argue but settle their differences.

  • Honesty
    We expect the HR/MR team to be honest at all times, we expect you to tell the truth and nothing but the truth. If caught lying, will result in a consequence. We also like for the HR/MR team to give out factual information, we want the HR/MR team to give out information that is true and may help you out in the future/present.

  • Dress-Code
    The MR/HR team is expected to wear appropriate attire. We expect you to have a shirt, and some pants on. (We encourage you to have the executive full suit on). Anything else that’s inappropriate or “trolling” kind of attire will not be tolerated.

  • Active rules

The MR/HR team is expected to follow these currently rules as follows.

Any HR promoting themselves will undergone some consequences. Using the ranking bot to promote your friends or yourself is strictly not allowed.
Chain of command. There is a chain of command you are to strictly follow it. DM the current lowest HR rank for any questions, DM higher ranks for anything concerning a SHR, development, and/or alliances.
Do not ask for any promotions. You will DM an HR if you have any questions about the current ranking. Asking for promotions will result in a very serious consequence.
If an HR would like to promote another HR/MR you will have to check if they are on cooldown, the cooldown will be 3+ days to get promoted again. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a consequence. Chairperson+ may bypass this rule
Fighting in game instead of taking it to DMs will result in a consequence, we ask you to take it strictly to DMs or stop with it.

  • Admin abusing will strictly result in a removal of the admin abusers permissions. These includes using :m :h :kick :ban without reason.
    You are to use #inactivity notice if you are going inactive for more than 3+ days. Failure to use this will be seen as inactivity and will result in some actions.
    The SHR/HR team will take any action seen fit. If you have any questions regarding this please address it.
