OJ Development Studios | Community Guidelines
Thanks for your interest in OJ Development Studios! We have a set of guidelines we expect everyone in our community to follow, to ensure our community is a safe and enjoyable place for all. Please review all of our guidelines by category below.
⭐ In-Game Guidelines ⭐
In most cases, we will not take moderation action on users in the Discord for events that occur in our games.
Glitching is not bannable unless you are taking advantage of it. Please make sure to report glitches and bugs that you find in our Discord server.
To take advantage of vulnerabilities in our games or the Roblox platform to gain an unfair advantage over other players or to cause upset to other players is classed as exploiting.
Examples of this, include, but are not limited to:
→ Speed/noclip hacks
→ Glitching water vehicles out of the water/into prohibited areas
→ Unauthorised execution of client-side code/calling of remotes
→ Using commands inappropriately
→ Disturbing the gameplay experience of others through taking advantage of vulnerabilities
- Trolling in our games is unacceptable. This includes, but is not limited to: harassing others, preventing others from having a good time, annoying others and preventing others to be able to play the game properly.
Community Server Rules 💬
Be respectful and do not harass members of the community. This includes in Roblox messages, Discord DMs, in this server and in game.
Keep the messages you send in specific channels on topic. You will receive a strike every time you chat in a no talking channel. To see if a channel is no talking, look at the channel description (at the top of the screen). If it has
at the start of the channel then it means no off topic talk.
Spamming is prohibited in all channels of the OJ Development Studio Discord Server. Doing so can result in a mute, kick or ban depending on the severity of the situation. Spamming is when you send the same message more than 3 times in a row, or your message is extremely long for no reason.
Mild swearing is allowed, however do not take it overboard. Racial slurs are prohibited. You must also follow the other rules, such as being respectful to people, when using swear words.
Do not argue or take drama into channels in this server. This can include provoking, attacking and/or targeting. Again, harassment in DMs can result in a removal from our server if reported.
Links other than Twitter, Gyazo, Roblox, Discord, Google Docs or other OJ Development Studios invites are prohibited. It will result in a warning or kick depending on what link you send. YouTube links are also allowed as long as you do not advertise your own or your friend’s channel in them.
Raiding this server, our subsidiaries, any of our affiliates, or any of our developers’ servers is an immediate ban. This ban is not appealable.
You are not allowed to ping a user or role without a valid reason. Pinging any role will result in a kick as this is taking advantage of vulnerabilities. If you find vulnerabilities, report them in a ticket instead of testing them out or taking advantage of them.
Advertising of anything outside of the MARKETPLACE channels is not allowed and will result in a warning.
Impersonation of a developer, administrator, moderator or other user in the server is bannable. The ban is unappealable for 6 months. If you see this, report it in a general support ticket.
Arguing about moderation actions is an immediate kick or ban. Asking about peoples’ moderation history results in a warning if your rank is not Trial Moderator+.
Religious, political and controversial topics should not be discussed. Doing so will result in a mute or kick.
Racism, homophobia and discrimination of any kind is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate kick or ban if seen or reported. This includes in DMs.
We will only take moderation action on people for events/behaviour that takes place in our server, our affiliates’ servers, or our developers’ servers. We cannot take action on people for events that take place in servers we are not affiliated with. We can take action on people for actions that take place in DMs, if they are in our server.
Posting NSFW content in any chat is an immediate ban. This includes if you are reported for sending it in affiliated servers or DMs.
Asking personal questions in our server, affiliated servers, or DMs is an immediate ban. This includes but is not limited to: phone numbers, addresses, face reveals, pictures, videos, social medias, etc. Exposing peoples’ information (without consent) results in the same punishment.
At the moment, English and Spanish are the only permitted languages inside the server. Speaking in other languages will result in a warning/mute. This rule is subject to change.
You must listen to all staff members in the server.
Voice Rules 🔊
Playing music in channels that are not for music will result in a warning and/or blacklist from the bot.
We have a music bot for a reason, so do not play music through your microphone.
Mild swearing is allowed in VCs, as long as it is in compliance with other rules such as respect. Again, racial slurs/discrimination is prohibited.
If you continually move channel to be annoying (interrupt people by spamming the join sound) then you will be blacklisted from VCs.
Any form of abnormally loud audio in the VCs is not allowed. This includes yelling into your microphone.
Recording VCs without permission is against the law. It will result in an immediate ban if caught/reported doing so.
We cannot take action on people for events/behaviour that takes place in VCs unless there is a Moderator+ present OR there is evidence. We can take action on people for breaking VC rules in affiliated servers but not DM voice chat.
