On a user’s profile with phone, the middle friend tile is missing

Reproduction Steps

  1. View the website/app on a phone.
  2. Find a user that has at least 3 friends and view their profile.
  3. Observe how the middle friend tile is absent.

Specs

  • Device: iPhone 14 Pro
  • Browser: Safari 18.5
  • Roblox App Version: 2.677.762 (c75c64)

Expected Behavior
A friend tile should appear in the middle of the “Friends” list as it did previously.

Actual Behavior

Can confirm that it’s happening with multiple users

Even on my own profile

It worked for me until the 13th of June but afternoon yea I encountered that player too

I also have searched for possible causes btw

Possible causes

  • The middle player may not show up due to an off-by-one error in the code.
*It may also be because the system accidentally omits one entry.
  • Or just an incorrect calculation of spacing or alignment.

What you can do

For now not really that much. You can try clearing the cache but since it’s happening in multiple devices I don’t think that’s the problem. The best thing to do is just wait until Roblox staff fixes or finds the real problem with the middle friend thing.

Hi Proven_Right, does this still reproduce for you? i just tried it and could not get it to reproduce. We’re also in the process of redesigning how friends shows up on web pages so we would make the changes there in the near future (instead of making changes to this component that we won’t re-use)

I’m still able to reproduce this issue with a phone on both the mobile website and app. It’s important to note that it only occurs on a phone. Reinstalling the app didn’t resolve it as well. Please let me know if there’s any further info that’d be helpful for me to provide.

I’m happy to report it appears that this issue has been resolved on my end! If you can confirm that a fix was implemented on Roblox’s end and/or anyone can confirm that they’re observing the expected behavior, that’d be great! Until then, I’ll wait to mark solution and close out this report. Thanks!
