Hello, we are friends who share a passion for ancient Roman history. Together we are planning and creating a game that will encompass the city of Rome during the late Republican period, specifically 100 BC.

About The Job
This will be an Action RPG based in the historical city of Rome, Circa 100 BC. In this game players will join occupations, farm, own land, own businesses, join law enforcement, join Legions, become Gladiators, become chariot racers, run for political offices, or join and form criminal gangs. The options are entirely up to them.
We are in need of multiple positions to be filled. This includes the following:
- Scripter
- Builder
- Clothing Designer
- Animator
- 3D Modeler
- GFX Designer
- UI Designer
- Texture Designer/Painter
Only those adept in the aforementioned categories will be considered. Those capable of filling more than one position will be preferred. Those interested must provide their development portfolio.
Building
As stated in the introduction, this game emulates the city of Rome during the late Republic. In order to do this, we require a well made map of the city of Rome, at minimum, the Roman Forum, the seven hills of Rome, and Tiber Island. This will require a multitude of structures which we will provide references for if necessary. Examples to name are Temples, Insulae, Circus Maximus, Curia Cornelia, and more.
Scripting
Although we have a scripter already, we will require someone capable of a similar skillset, or at minimum capable of providing assistance where needed. This game will feature complex RPG elements such as character customization, economy, business, law, crime, and more. Details will be disclosed privately.
Clothing
Our clothing will mostly consist of tunics, togas, and stolas. These pieces of clothing can be complex, and experience in designing flowing fabrics will be necessary to fill this role. As well as smooth shading, and wear & tear.
Animator
Animations will involve two main categories. Combat, and social. Combat animations will be discussed with Zer0xxs. Social animations will involve hand gestures, walking, jumping, etc. Animations are expected to operate fluidly, and feel natural. Mocap animations welcome.
3D Modeler
Meshes will be necessary as well as converting Roblox parts to Mesh in order to be textured and painted. Our 3D assets will include weapons, wagons, shields, armours, jewelry, environmental props, trees/vegetation and more which will be disclosed in private.
Texture Designer/Painter
Structures and assets will require wear & tear, graffiti, and more. Textures must be high quality and consistent.
GFX Designer
For logos, thumbs, ads, and icon.
UI Designer
Our UI will closely relate to RPG UI’s. The UI designer must make their own button icons, menu layouts, inventory setup, and whatever else is needed. UI designer will work closely with scripters to ensure a clean and smooth UI layout.
Payment
We are working with roughly, a $2,000 USD budget. How this translates per developer will be discussed in private.
