Hi there! We are Noxsi Studios, a small upcoming clothing group. We’re looking for clothing designers who are willing to join our team and work with us on our store!
We are looking for a professional clothing designer to join our team as our lead content artist. We expect high quality templatesthat adhere to our store’s style. Good communication skills are appreciated; we check team progress daily and want to maintain a healthy relationship with one another.
To be fair the examples he provided aren’t complicated and a decent designer could do that kind of work in around an hour per item. Clearly he isn’t looking for the highest quality, so that would justify lower prices. However, you are right that 40 templates is still alot and he should pay a little more to compensate for the designer’s time.
While the examples aren’t complicated, he did state that he wanted them to take 2-3 hours, which means that there is probably a higher quality wanted here.
Edit: That could just be my interpretation, but either way there’s definitely going to need to be a higher pay needed than usual. Designers don’t tend to work on designs for 6 hours a day, since this would include making the designs as well as the clothing itself.
The 2-3 hours thing was likely his rough estimate. It’s a common misconception that clothing takes a ton of time (unless you’re on KylieDeAmore’s skill level, or just a slow worker). Personally my designs take an hour max, even with shading and details.
