Open-world Medieval game looking for versatile animator

About Us

Greetings. Me and my team have been developing an open-world medieval game called Midgard for the past two months. Development has had its ups and its downs as any team does, but overral we are aiming to release a pre-alpha showcasing a lot of the core systems before August.

The Team
@rokedev - Programmer / Project Manager
@cloudyhex - 3D Modeler
@StandardDoor - Terrain Designer
Vacant - Animator

Progress for the game is shown through update logs and screenshots that can be found in the discord.

About The Job

We are looking for an animator who can do almost anything, specifically in a medieval style. Sword swinging, chopping trees, mining stones, drawing a bow, a deer run animation, all of these things are the type of things that we would need to be animated.

The animations are meant to be ‘natural’. No powerups or unusual movements that wouldn’t be realistic for the average person to do. Many animations are going to be required per weapon to fit different scenarios, and in the entire game I would expect atleast a few hundred animations.

Currently we need about 6 animations to finish the pre-alpha items. This is STRICTLY not a commission as the animations need to be consistent across all weapons in their style.

Payment

Payment is widely negotiable, but some starting numbers would be 15% revenue and possibly USD per group of animations (group being sword animations, axe animations, that sort of thing).
